As I said, ok/good win. nothing more. Alexander is hardly a world beater, and he got beat up good vs Porter who Kell brook beat with ease, but who incidentally now is just a hype job.

Not sure which fight you watched, Kell Brook barely beat Porter thanks to 100's of clinches and excessive hugging.

I watched a fight where Porter hardly landed a clean punch all night.

Let's not forget how Khan fought a way worse Collazo.

I saw that fight a few times, Kotelnik didn't do enough in the early rounds, he came on strong later in the fight but it was too little too late. Alexander won it, the judges got it right that time. All three judges had the exact same score of 116-112.

Porter did beat Alexander but that was a close fight too, I saw that fight with the sound off and Porter actually misses quite a lot while being caught by Alexander. Watch it with the sound off and I think you'll see what I mean, it makes a difference not listening to commentary and crowd reactions which can effect your own judgement. Close fight, it wasn't the fairly one-sided beating that I thought it was when I first watched it live with commentary/crowd.

There's a small room for discussion about Matthyse beating him but I had Alexander winning that one too.

Bradley beat him with the predictable use of the head (whether intentional or not) the headbutts are what won that fight for Bradley more than anything - Alexander became too cautious about being hit with the head (not Bradley's actual punches) that he couldn't find a safe way in and his only back up plan was to quit the fight and hope for a dq or nc. Team Alexander were talking about Bradley's headbutts all through the build up, it's almost like they game planned to quit if Bradley's head got too involved in the fight without ref intervention.

So, Alexander could potentially beat all those fighters - possibly apart from Bradley unless there's a strict by the book referee.

Maybe a rematch with Cotto for the ring magazine middleweight championship, but I don't think that will sell as well as a fight with Manny or Khan. Plus, at this stage, Khan is the biggest threat to Floyd. His height, length, and speed may be too much for the older fighter.
A rematch vs Cotto certainly outsells a fight with Khan, by a good margin. Despite Khan talking about he's so popular in the U.S., he's actually not. Some boxing fans I speak to know Khan as the guy Danny Garcia knocked out, others ask "Who?".

Khan's supposed height advantage is pretty laughable. The way people list it as an advantage, you'd think he's like Paul Williams or Kelly Pavlik type of tall. Dude is half an inch taller than Floyd and now he is Wladimir Klitschko all of a sudden. Length, what is that? Do you mean his reach? Because Floyd actually has longer reach. Khan's speed is overrated. He throws fast punches but with very little power to them. Amir Khan is like a flat screen TV. They make TV's so flat now, that all tv's basically sacrifice sound, because of the skinny speakers they have to fit in the skinny tv. So you only get about 10 watts of sound from your tv. Khan throws so fast, that he sacrifices a lot power. The faster he throws, the weaker his punches. They're all flash and nothing else. On top of that, not all of them score.

Khan's strategy is to run his mouth on a daily basis so that, if a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight is not signed, he will be the next option. It could work.

I was actually one of the millions of people fooled by Arum into thinking he was actually trying to make Pacquiao available for a Mayweather fight...

Khan should keep it up... he's going to get the fight with Mayweather... he's the only option... BUT the fight isn't happening on May 2, 2015.

Not sure why internet nerds are so excited about a Khan fight... I think it's mainly people from the U.K. and Mayweather fans who know it's an easy fight...

Khan has no power to threaten Mayweather and Mayweather will walk him down and knock him out easily...

There is no way Khan's chin stands up to Mayweather's precision straight rights and hooks.

Mayweather doesn't walk anyone down and knock them out. Would love to know who you think would be a good fight for Mayweather other than Manny!?

Let's waste another year and have Maidana 3 & 4. Khan has the faster hands and Mayweather is just not entertaining this fight at all - he is more concerned with keeping that 0
