Stop trolling man, you seriously think Vargas would beat Alexander the way Khan did - if at all?

Well then, you know Khan is a higher level than Vargas at this point and therefore a much more credible opponent for Floyd. Stop trolling, this site is packed full to the brim with Khan-hating trolls it's enough to make a man check the cost of a gun and cost of 2 hours worth of target practice in a reasonably professional shooting range. Amazon here i come.

He's focused on a Pacquiao fight. That is he only fight that can outdo Canelo-Cotto. Let's face it, Amir Khan is not as big of a star as he thinks he is and if Floyd were to beat him it would do absolutely NOTHING for Floyd at this stage of his career. Khan wouldn't bring a belt, he wouldn't bring a whole lot of name recognition here in the states, and he adds nothing to Mays resume.

Khan has everything to gain while Floyd has nothing to gain. Khan needs to shut the hell up and take care of Kell Brook. The winner of that fight gets the winner of Mayweather vs Pacquiao and the winner of that fight can say he's the undisputed welterweight champion.

Floyd will not fight Pacquiao as he is signed to Arum and he has some tension with Bob Arum.

Also Mayweather and Arum will argue about the drug testing, gloves Manny wears, where to fight, the date., money issues etc etc etc

Why Floyd fights on Cinco De Mayo excuses" Manny's PPVs aren't enough" well I wonder how many PPVs Ortiz, Guerrero or Maidana did before they got the Mayweather fight.

I want to see Khan vs Mayweather as do a lot of others, so shut your pie hole.

Khan has a valid point, how can Mayweather say Khan is not a big enough name, when he's fought the likes of Ortiz/Guerrero/Maidana? He's just talking rubbish.

Obviously we all want the Pac fight, but who else is there?

Lmao.... seriously? Bro this sign > open side means greater than, and closed side means less than. Lmao you just called dude a troll because he said Mayweather-Khan is a better fight then Pac-Vargas, then you went on to explain why Mayweather-Khan is a better fight then Pac-Vargas.

And Khan is an idiot Bro get over it.

This guy has 300-10 amateur record, 3 time world champ and Khan just schooled the kid. That was an excellent performance. I just hope Devon doesn't consider retirement like Barrera, Maidana, Paulie, Judah and Collazo did after Khan whupped them the same way.
Yeah it was a good performance, but the guy wasn't a world beater. He was beaten handily by Kotelnik, handily by Porter, handily by Bradley and lost to Matthysse too.

As I said, ok/good win. nothing more. Alexander is hardly a world beater, and he got beat up good vs Porter who Kell brook beat with ease, but who incidentally now is just a hype job.

What can I say I guess I'm so used to trols using the "something = something" to discredit Khan that I didn't see the >

And how is Khan an idiot, the kid just wiped Devon Alexander off the face of the earth.

absolutely positively had enough of reading so-called 'articles' written by this gimp where all he is doing is regurgitating an endless series of soundbites from one of the biggest gobshi7es in boxing

Kotelnik didn't beat Alexander at all - that's a myth. It was a close fight, sure, but Alexander won it. I saw that fight a few times, Kotelnik didn't do enough in the early rounds, he came on strong later in the fight but it was too little too late. Alexander won it, the judges got it right that time. All three judges had the exact same score of 116-112.

Porter did beat Alexander but that was a close fight too, I saw that fight with the sound off and Porter actually misses quite a lot while being caught by Alexander. Watch it with the sound off and I think you'll see what I mean, it makes a difference not listening to commentary and crowd reactions which can effect your own judgement. Close fight, it wasn't the fairly one-sided beating that I thought it was when I first watched it live with commentary/crowd.

There's a small room for discussion about Matthyse beating him but I had Alexander winning that one too.

Bradley beat him with the predictable use of the head (whether intentional or not) the headbutts are what won that fight for Bradley more than anything - Alexander became too cautious about being hit with the head (not Bradley's actual punches) that he couldn't find a safe way in and his only back up plan was to quit the fight and hope for a dq or nc. Team Alexander were talking about Bradley's headbutts all through the build up, it's almost like they game planned to quit if Bradley's head got too involved in the fight without ref intervention.

So, Alexander could potentially beat all those fighters - possibly apart from Bradley unless there's a strict by the book referee.
