overtrained by floyd snr, losing weight too fast, no gameplan, mentally not right, as well as abusing booze and drugs in between camps
hatton had gone downhill before the fight with floyd, by the time he faced pac, he was done and dusted, the lifestyle and his demonsComment

Yeah I don't see anyone beating him at Jr ww. Another intriguing fight in the future could be crawford, but id like to see crawford get a few fights at 140 first against some good competition. And in my opinion on the pac/marquez 3. It was a very very close fight in which either could've won, but me personally I thought marquez won.You are right he is a very small welterweight which makes his feats that much more impressive. He would be unstoppable at 140. Also if Manny doesn't respect your punching power you are in trouble. Manny will lay in the ropes and let his opponents hit him with body shots and if he doesn't respect it he will throw caution to the win a little more like he did with algieri and start unleashing his furious combos. That's why he had a hard time in Marquez 3, because Marquez is a ko artist and he knew he had to keep his guard up more. I still feel he won that fight though simply by the agrgresion although the rounds were almost dead even I gave that to Manny because of the aggression although I could see how people thought Marquez won, but Manny landed moreComment

Maybe it was because Pacquiao was coming up in weight and that was his first fight at welterweight," De La Hoya said.
Pac was coming up in weight, so his power now and before can't be measured correctly.
That said, Pac ain't a monster that knocks out opponents with one punch. It's the accumulation of punches.Comment

its funny how delahoya said he didn't feel pacquiao's power judging from his face after he quit...
simply funny, oscar...Comment

this is why I can't understand those accusations. either Pac hits like a mule or he does not. it can't be both.
Oscar accused him of peds too so how come?
none of those he fought says he hits that hard and all of them said they were not hurt by his shots including hatton but..
none of them also stand by Pac and depended him on those ped accusations

Wasn't Pacquiaos fight with hatton at 140? I'm pretty sure that's where hatton won his belts and was a unified champ. He didn't lose against Floyd until he went up to 147,so im having trouble understanding how he was weight drained at his natural weight. Your probably right on the drugs though, but its no excuse to use things outside the ring to justify a loss. He should have known what he was walking into, and he shouldn't havebeen doing anything to hinder his performance.look at pacs ko of of hatton, people dont realize hatton was drained, gaunt and exhausted before he even stepped in that ring as well as psychologically damaged
cotto weight drained,
pac never had brutal power, however he has the ability to hurt you, but he is no triple g..
pac needs to land the perfect punch, de la hoya is right,
pacs power has always been overrated, however that is not to say he doesnt hit hard, just not as hard as people thought...the hatton ko should not be used to measure pacs power..you have to look at why hatton ended up on the floor, the circumstances leading up to the fight
pac hits harder than floyd thoughComment
