Nicaraguan René "Twin" Alvarado will attempt to get his first win on US soil, when on January 20th he faces hometown fighter Eric Hunter on a card being organized in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Alvarado already fought once in the United States. Earlier this year he stepped inside the ring in El Paso, Texas and lost an upset decision to experienced Ricardo "Rocky" Juarez.
