Comments Thread For: Klitschko Trainer: Wladimir Stops Deontay Wilder in Six

On January 17th, all boxing eyes will be fixated on the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, when heavyweight destroyer Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs) attempts to capture the World Boxing Council world crown from champion Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs). If Wilder wins, there will be a lot of momentum for a showdown with unified king Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

I'm sure that's the plan, once Jennings is polished off the radar. I just hope Wilder beats Stiverne - that's the main thing.

Will wait to see his next fight first and then I'll make a determination on how he may perform against a man he has very little advantage in physical characteristics.

Prove it?! Wladimir Klitschko has to prove himself against Deontay ducking Wilder! LOL Shut the **** up....

This NBA butterbean sideshow hasn't proved ****! Wladimir doesn't need that clown... All you'd do is call him a joke after he kayoed him! Jennings is far more legitimate & he's nothing special either.... Those spider legs would shatter like icicles! I'd be suprsised of Wilder made it past 3 let alone 6.. It would probably be an Austin or Jefferson type performance!

Once Wlad start connecting the fight could very well be over. I wouldn't be suprised if Wlad knocks out Wilder in round one.

People are quick to forget Wlad got stopped quick by a 6'2" Brewster and a 6'4" Sanders... Wlad won't be throwing punchs downward to connect, but against an individual who is right up there with him. Every logical individual can see Wilder has big power; though untested against stiffer competition.... His power is undeniable.

and what happens when wilder starts connecting? we saw in the pulev fight that wlad has zero head movement. his only defense is distance, either far away from his shorter opponents or on their chest. wilder is taller and longer so he will be within range and closing the distance to hug will be dangerous as well. hence the duck to fight jennings instead of waiting to fight wilder/stirvene winner in april.
