He beat a pretty damn good version of mosley, not prime, but still a top fighter. Aside from trout, the Only guys he didn't beat were two of the best guys within the last twenty years. I don't understand how that makes him an average fighter.

This is whats happening, Cotto is holding off on the Canelo fight, because a Floyd rematch is being worked behind close doors. Apparently Cotto will get a bigger guarantee vs Floyd and 40% of the PPV buys. The other thing Cotto is watiing on is, that if for some reason Floyd vs Pacquiao gets made, he will tell Canelo that the fight has to be in NY on June 9th, wich is the date Cotto really wants to fight at. For Canelo to get Cotto in texas on May 2. It have to be a 55-45 split and Cotto getting the bigger Guarantee money.

Only big fights I count for Cotto winning are Quintana, Mosley, and Clottey. While decent, his stans make him out to be some god.

I think he's bringing up the idea of them talking without anything serious happening. Cotto's gonna want an lot of money, Mayweather gets 32 regardless.... I don't think Sho has enough money, even if Canelo refuses to move from the May date since Oscar seems to only want to move it for Pac/May

I think it's just there for leverage with Canelo and try to get what he wants.
