I really like that too. Peter Fury also said that all of his fighters are willing to fight anyone at anytime, right from Hughie, to Eddie to Tyson. He says if one of them ever says they don't want to fight someone, they can pack it up and leave the gym for good.there is one thing that I love about peter fury as a trainer. right from the start of Hughie's career he has matched him with tough trial horses. Fighters who he knew Hughie should beat but would give him some experience. Hughie is still a growing boy so he hasn't reached peak size yet. Peter also said he doesn't care if Hughie loses because of his age & sometimes a loss early in the career can be more of a learning experience than any win. Too bad Hughie got ill because he was in the ring every month up until then. Thompson would have mopped the floor with Hughie I think & i'm sure the fury camp watched the price fights closely...
It's a good attitude to have.
I actually think Hughie would have won. And I think he would have won quite comfortably on points.
I don't rate TT as much as other people do. In fact, I think he's extremely mediocre. Hughie Fury is a lot quicker than Price and uses his feet a lot more. He's got better punch variety and has better head movement.
I rate Hughie very highly. He's got more natural talent than Joshua and Parker imo, but we shall see. There's no denying that a fight with TT would have been a great learning experience. But Hughie more than handles Chambers and Cunningham in sparring.
Joshua shouldn't go anywhere near a world title before 2017.Comment

Hughie looked very good - obviously he had a disappointing 2014, but some of that was due to being overworked the year before. He had 12 fights in 8 months, together with almost continuous gym work!I really like that too. Looking forward to his fight in February. It's a good step up.Comment
