Maidana benefitted from a rematch with Floyd, when he really did deserve one. At the very least, he should give Broner a rematch, because I think Broner deserves one too. That being said, the Taylor fight does not show me that Broner can beat Maidana @ 147. I would suggest a fight with Guererro or Matthysse first.

I knew once Maidana got a Mayweather fight, no way was Broner getting his rematch, one because it makes the rematch clause NULL and Void once he lost to Mayweather.

He flopped and pretended to be hurt in order to get out of the fight (after being dropped and on his way to be ko'd) I assure you that if he had a different race--no one would be calling him a "warrior". His best shot is when he hit Chino after the bell.

The only reason Broner beat Maidana clearly in the last round, and maybe won a few rounds after the middle of the fight is because Maidana totally ran out of gas, he was a bit fat (out of shape) and his conditioning was very poor for that particular fight. A well-conditioned and in-shape Maidana would be able to have enough oxygen for the whole fight if they met up agin, so that last round debacle would not repeat itself.
