If this was any other fighter fans would rightly be giving him chit but this dude has some cult following that rivals the worst fanboys on here. He has one big name win against a fighter that is constantly trashed on here (Donaire), and he refuses to move up.

    Sick of this entitled whiner.
Tbf no one will be Watching this fight and we don't have to pay for it so...

GGG is in the exact same position and yet the majority of posters dont cry that he should move up to SMW. Both small for their respective divisions already and dominate(Rigo 5'3-5'4, GGG 5'8-5'9). If Santa cruz wasn't such a pu55y this thread wouldn't exist

Funny when people like you make s**t up. Chris Avalos was the mandatory to Guillermo Rigondeaux and Carl Frampton. Should he fight Guillermo Rigondeaux in a gay bar in Miami for a lifetime supply of or Carl Frampton in front of 16,000 fans in the U.K. for a nice pay day? Tough one, . Avalos is ducking doe.

To be honest, almost anyone (within a reasonable weight) that you put in the ring with him will end up looking like a bum. He is a very small guy and will be severely limited as to how far up he can move. Technically, he is one of the best fighters on the face of the earth.

The guy doesnt need to dare to be great. He already is great. Hes small for the weight as it is. Maybe fighters in his weightclass should dare to be great.

I don't think it's much to do with him wanting to fight bums or even that people are avoiding him. It's the fact his main stream promoter dumped him, mainstream network dumped him, and opportunities are lacking.

This guy gets a pass for all sorts of reasons that others don't.

People talk about his amazing skills being the best in the business. He's had 14 Pro fights and has been on his ass more times than Mayweather has in his almost 20 year career.

He is very skilled but i still think he gets somewhat overrated and will be beaten and stopped by somebody.
