Comments Thread For: Velez wants Loma/Walters/Gonzalez if no Gradovich II

Unbeaten featherweight contender Jayson Velez (22-0-1) is looking to return to the ring in the first quarter of 2015. He last fought in November when he battled IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich to a draw.

If he can't secure a rematch, the 26-year-old still wants to return in a big fight.

I thought you clearly lost and If Gradovich doesnt fight one of the top names next then I have no problem with a rematch.

Why he did not add the WBA interim champion Jesus Andres Cuellar too the list?

Probably because Nicolas Walters is the WBA champ and cuellar is merely the interim champ

He's lucky he got a draw or would've been hated if he got a gift decision
