So Hearn, who besides Pac DOES guarantee 2 mil buys? Geez, here's a guy in Khan who with his speed alone would give Floydie all kinds of problems, maybe even win the fight. And doesn't Hearn promote Brook? Hello? Floydie's retirement date is extremely close. Let Floydie fight Khan, THEN Pac. Khan easily has enough of a name to draw at or near 1 mil PPVs. And THEN he can fight Brook.

Fighting Mayweather is better business sense than fighting Brook right now.
He might make bit less money fighting Floyd, but when he loses to floyd...no big deal, everyone does. The Brook fight is always there. If he did manage to win against Floyd then he hits the jackpot.
If he fights Brook, he makes a little more but if he loses then he is done. He can probably say goodbye to any of the huge fights after that. Fighting Brook right now just because the fee is a bit bigger is basically putting all his eggs in one basket.
If he faces Floyd and loses, he still has 2 big paydays in him which is that fight and Brook. If he fights Brook and loses, he gets one big payday and no more.
It's just business. His team are not ******, they know a Floyd fight makes more sense in the long run, even if they lose.Comment

This is Kell Brookes trainer saying he thinks Amir would likely beat Mayweather. I dont know why these guys are after Amir because there is no way in hell that Brooke would come close to beating himComment

Sky PPV's are less than half the price of the U.S PPV cost. Which makes Khan v MayweAther still more profitable than Khan v Brook overall.
500k buys at $60 a pop are better than a million UK buys at £17 a pop.
That said Khan will get a much lower percentage of the purse against MayweAther which might make Khan v Brook a better deal for Khan.Last edited by Grimmer; 12-25-2014, 03:37 PM.Comment

I think many boxing fans understand Amir poses a threat just because of his speed and distance. I dont disagree with the numbers but I would expect Showtime to try and stack the card, at least make a great co main event like Garcia vs Matthysse, if so, it does a milComment
