Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Khan is on Mayweather, Pacquiao's Level

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya says Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) has proven himself as arguably the third A-class fighter in the welterweight division. He rates Khan, based on his dominating twelve round decision win over Devon Alexander, as standing right in the mix with division leaders Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Khan is trying to get in the ring with Mayweather on May 2nd of next year.

If oscar's playing that card then this is how his top fighter list reads 1) Mayweather 2) Pacquia 3)Danny Garcia 4) Lucas matthyesse 5) Peterson and finally 6) khan.

Khan needs to rematch garcia. One dominant win against a B class fighter doesn't make you a hof caliber fighter.

Neither Pacquiao or Mayweather would lose to Danny Garcia, so Oscar just needs to stop the nonsense, just stop!

Or is he...!? One pretty nice win doesn't make you a legend.
Manny would KO him and Floyd would school him.
