You skipped right over the fact that GGG is a small middleweight who says he can make 154 no problem. Ward is a big 168 pounder who won't come down an ounce. GGG is trying to unify the middleweight world titles before he spots one of the best fighters in the world 8 pounds. If Ward was a middleweight belt holder and he agreed to fight GGG then GGG would gladly knock Ward out. For now GGG wants to concentrate 100% on unifying the middleweight world title. Anything wrong with that?

I agree with you ovreall but Golovkin or rather Sanchez said they would only go down to 154 for Floyd.

Abel Sanchez already revealed the reasons.

"I think Ryan Coyne was probably the only guy who who has really been able to hang in here with Golovkin, only because Ryan was a good boxer, was moving a lot, and holding Gennady. He had a lot of experience so he was probably the best sparring with had."

Ward holds the four attributes that scares Golovkin to death.
                1. Good Boxer
                2. Moving a lot
                3. holding
                4. experience

It doesn't make financial sense for his team. Which is fair enough. There are bigger fights at his weight.

But don't go around saying you're the most avoided and feared etc when you clearly don't want to fight certain people.
