Certainly hope he can get past all these distractions. I know he isn't J.T. from 10 years back, but he does still have some skills and is entertaining in the ring. I hope the N'Dam fight gets signed. He obviously just needs to stay busy at this stage of his life/career.

I'm not sure I'd word it as "get past all these distractions"...

If he's really throwing bricks through windows and shooting at his family members I think he needs to at best stop boxing, as worst be in jail. Those aren't "distractions" they're violent crimes.

You may be right, but I just see some boxers getting in life phases of not being able to deal with life outside boxing. That why I was saying maybe he should have more fights, stay in the gym, etc.

I still remember when Taylor went after his own mother a few years ago, and threw her car keys into traffic. Only reason his *ss didn't goto to jail then was because she wouldn't press charges against her own son.

I hope this incident prevents Taylor from making any voluntary fights with Quillin or Mora. Jermain shouldn't be fighting for health reasons, but I also don't want to see Haymon controlling the IBF belt and hiding it away from Golovkin.

FWIW I think N'Dam vs Lemieux would be a great fight and I don't think Taylor has any business getting back in the ring anyway after his head injuries.

I can't claim to know what's going on with the kid but he doesn't seem like a happy camper right now - he should probably be trying to focus on getting his life back on track rather than risking further brain damage in the ring.
