Is Pac putting himself at a disadvantage

By moving back down in weight? Especially at his age.

I don't think so. Even when he moved up in weight he still came in lighter than many of his foes.

No I shouldn't think so. His natural fighting weight isn't welterweight, he only moved there for the titles and the matchups that could be made. He can still easily make 140 and he's faster and a comparatively stronger puncher at that weight.

I think they're protecting a shattered mandible. Algieri and Bradley are not punchers at all and Rios is an accumulating mauler not a guy who is loading up on his shots. There are questions about Pac's jaw that remain to be answered imo.

i hope they are not pulling a floyd and trying to bail on what is soon to become the deepest and hottest division in boxing.

If Pac fought more in the 140 in his prime, I think he would have been even more of a beast. Imagine a stronger and faster prime Pacquiao. He's just a natural 140'er. He was forced to move up because of the big money fights.
