British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) says the haters continue going after him despite his best efforts in the ring. Khan, an Olympic silver medal winner, has a love-hate relationship with the boxing public in the UK. The fan tension has led him to train primarily in the United States with American trainer Virgil Hunter of California.

We like our stars humble. Build on your humanitarian work and if you lose hold your hands up to it. He always comes across as immature in interviews.
He has a knack of sounding bad even when talking about positive acts

I like Khan but hes always looking for cosigners.. All you ever hear from him is "OH this person said I would beat Floyd tonight with my performance, Legends think i can beat Floyd, This guy said Im a nice person and different from the rest, everyone told me Im the best welterweight in the world, this person, and that person said this etc.." He easy to gas up. Just earn it man.. fight a LIVE dog. I know its possible to talk your way into a fight but I think he could have been greater than the path hes taking.. He would beat brook in a HUGE UK fight, Possibly beat Keith Thurman and would give Mayweather HELL. Just earn it...

        Ignore those people, Khan.

Like Keith Thurman said, screw those people who booed me.

          Right on the money.
Got given too much exposure too early. Acted like an arrogant fool. Got found out. Made excuses. Has repeated formula ever since.
I lost interest in him when he started telling lies about why Ariza got sacked.
Is a poor role model for young boxers.
Zero to do with jealousy. Zero to do with his race/colour/creed. Everything to do with his ego & persona.
If he ever listens to the criticism and addresses it by shutting the g up and getting on with his boxing he might win a few fans back

The 90% of threads on Front page are Mayweather-Pacquiao threads, Open ur eyes, Khan threads aren't even 2% in comparison.

A lot of it I am sure is due to his outrages assessments of situations ie," The Floyd fight will be the biggest fight ever.."Floyd is running scared"when I fight in Vegas it will be a Hatton type atmosphere"(a dozen turn up!)..Of his Maidana poll after begging his twitter followers to vote for him.."see the world wants to see this fight "..The taxi driver in Vegas, Mayweather telling him he's not well known enough.."I think Floyds starting to promote the fight"...I could go on and on.
Khan has a unique knack of undoing his sometimes good performances in the ring with such deluded some times child like opinions of the situation and I am sure that these bizarre statements he make's are why people have a go.
