how is it ducking? they came to an agreement and stevenson reneged. that's as textbook definition of a duck as it gets.

your reasoning is illogical. who gives a **** if he's making more money fighting bums? that wasn't your question. he ducked kovalev. end of story.

The extra cash comes in the Kovalev fight. Stevenson would get paid far more to fight Kovalev than he would to fight the bums he's fighting. Why doesn't he take the bigger money against Kovalev?

If I was Stevenson and I was actually confident in my ability, I'd take the Kovalev fight, win the fight and become an even bigger star. Then I can command even bigger paydays.

Stevenson is losing money because he's not confident he can beat Kovalev. Is it an illogical way of thinking? No. Is it ducking? Yes.

No I'm quite aware it's a business. And a smart business decision would be to take the highest paying fights available, surely?

So far Adonis has ***ed up the three biggest paydays available to him in Kovalev, Hopkins and Pascal. How exactly is that good business?

You're admitting that he's scared to get KTFO and that's why he's taking lower paying fights against bums. If that's not ducking, then what is?

Regardless of what his motives were, he ducked a Kovalev fight for easier opponents.

Now if he goes on to fight Kovalev, all will be forgiven. So we'll see what happens.

He's stacking bread getting 7 figures against easy opposition so what's wrong?

He'll fight them but while the iron is hot he's getting easy money, not that hard to understand.

But he's losing money. He's fighting for LESS money than he would get against Kovalev.

How is he losing money when the fight is still available after he gets the easy money.

this is acceptable and fair, techically he ducked him... hopefully we get to see the fight

its just funny that some of the biggest names in the sport are doing the exact same thing and get praised for it...

Anything can happen in boxing. You should take career high paydays when they're offered to you especially when you're near the end of your career. And if he beat Kovalev, he'd be able to command even more than what he's getting now.

Adonis doesn't feel confident enough he can win that fight even though it's his biggest payday - isn't that ducking? If not, then please explain your definition of ducking.
