I briefly met Quillin, he is a nice guy but it has nothing to do with how he is in the ring. Ducking and vacating a belt for 1 million plus offer in a winnable fight, talking about how others are not on his level when he is no major attraction and has only fought once this year makes fans want to dislike him as a fighter

Hard to win over certain ''fans''. If Quillin schooled that boy Golovkin you know they would never get over it.

But that wouldn't happen, for a number of reasons.

        He won't fight Golovkin.

        He can't do it.

Golovkin's team need to move to showtime and accept the best terms they can get. Qullin's paydays against his opposition show he has real drawing power.

Golovkin isn't very fast or athletic not sure why you're so sure he beats Qullin.

Qulliin does have a good story and I am sure he is a good enough guy but it is easy to see why he gets the heat he gets. On top of the ****** stuff that he gets flack for (every fighter gets this some more than others and Quillin was/is high on this list) but dude has turned down fights which can be fine if at least semi-suitable replacements are made.

Quillin has not taken the fights and has not taken decent replacements which has put him into this purgatory where he is still kind of a top guy at 160 but he isn't fighting and doesn't seem to have any fight plans lined up which only makes him fall further and worth even less.

The only way to get out of that cycle is to fight, preferably someone who can fight back but almost anyone would do Quillin at this point.

Too bad your boy Millimeter Peter doesn't see him that way. He's so afraid of GGG he vacated his title to avoid a five with GGG-lite
