i dont think vargas/mosley was as good as people say it was. it was better than average, but it wasnt really a "great" fight.
I can't believe it MOSLEY VS. VARGAS II

I dont mean to condone cheating, but once you do steroids it's tough to reach that peak again or maintain it, naturally. My best advice for Vargas is to juice now and juice HARD and build up TONS Of stamina...and suggest a small ring.Comment

vargas deserves the rematch he was up on one card and the others only had mosely by 1 - i would like to see this fight again but not on ppv as wellComment

Does anyone have that pic of Vargas's face with that huge bump?He looked like he could be in the goonies 2, Hey u guys!!!!, that says enough about a rematch, just ******, Mosley will beat him again.Comment

Money talks... rematch was bound to happen.
Also, what would make you think Vargas will win a UD after he was stopped and down by points too in a fight where there wasn't a knockout?

You're all missing the reason why this is happening.
Neither of these fighters has many paynights left in them, and HBO did approximately 400, 000 PPV buys from this fight when it was expected to do nowhere near that.
They are taking the piss by having it happen all over again, but there was enough debate over what was happening in the ring so that they can build a rematch.
I just depair at HBO's love these days for trying to hype nothing matches.
In reality for a fight such as Hopkins-Tarver, there is one reason why that fight is able to happen, and that is because it appeals in the majority to the African-American fanbase who will buy it.
Otherwise, it's two greedy old fighters past their primes trying to cash in before time runs out.Comment
