Hating on Floyd for what he does is like hating on a baseball pitcher for too many perfect games. "He doesnt even allow home runs", thats how you sound man. Even though Roys reflexes were amazing and he was entertaining he never mastered the science of boxing, thats why as his reflexes declined, he started getting his as* whooped. Floyds reflexes are nowhere near as sharp as they were yet hes still top dog because hes a scientist. Science is not rushed, its a process. For you to say all Floyd does is pull counters and little else shows how blind you are to the art of boxing. You make it sound so simple yet there has never been a fighter like Floyd in history. The greatest defense ever, the most accurate puncher ever, the most complete pure boxer ever.

But to each his own. I enjoy both Roy and Floyd but I prefer Mayweather because of how he dissects any opponent. I watch him for his greatness not because hes hated.

That comparison of the Pitcher is actually like a Pitcher that could pitch the World series but pitches only to the MINOR LEAGUE and scared to Pitch in the nice Majors, MANG !

You know what Floyd, he may be boring (and in 98% of his fights, he is) but at least when Floyd was 35 years old...he wasn't getting knocked out (and on a continuous basis after that).

Why you guys get so emotional about Floyd?. He's a defensive minded fighter who is concerned with the safety of boxing gloves but he makes his fighters spar for over 30 minutes straight. He accused pacman of being on PEDs then Hires Alex Ariza. Floyd will make more in a fight with Pacquiao than what he made with Guerrero and Maidana I and II combined.while exposing top rank's top fighter in the process. Floyd hates Arum and he had the opportunity to destroy him by exposing Pacquiao. So you are telling me that Maidana with a mouthpiece on, bit Foyd's wrapped hands inside his pillow size gloves. RJJ said that pac is a shell of himself he is far from praising Pac. You guys get to emotional like if Floyd is some MLK some Malcom X type of guy. He is far from the most complete pure boxer ever. Because that would entail both offense and defense. Floyd is a defensive fighter primarily. And he does not have the greatest defense ever. There are many fighters that were just as good if not better than him defensively like whitaker, benitez, willie pep, duran, as well as many others. Now you may say benitez is not and maybe even duran. But ray leonard fought both benitez, duran and floyd senior. Ray touched floyd senior hard and often, turtle defense and all.

Ray broke the same shell defense that floyd senior taught floyd jr,but he had extreme difficulty catching benitez and duran clean. Not to mention the ray who fought benitez and duran was a much improved fighter. Floyd is a great fighter but he is far from being the best defensive fighter ever, the best pure boxer ever, or most accurate puncher ever. And even if that was the case and it certainly is not. It takes even more than that to be considered the best fighter ever which is what it sounds like you were subtly eluding to. And if so that's absolutely ridiculous. Not only were all the aforementioned fighters equally as good or even better defensively than floyd. Im convinced they would have all beaten him as well.
