Legendary German trainer Fritz Sdunek has passed away at the age of 67 reports German media. Sdunek was in hospital after suffering from a heart attack and died this morning.

Today the world has lost one of its most prominent figures in Fritz Sdunek. Fritz, you left US this morning at the age of 67. I find it hard to come to terms with it as we just met during event on December 1st and as always we had a good conversation. You have always been very polite, respectful, ambitious and of course successful person and I didn't just see you as the coach of my challengers but so a friend. Boxing will not be the same without you. My thoughts are with you and your family.
