LOS ANGELES - After piling up 12 wins in 12 fights at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., hometown hero Randy "El Matador" Caballero (22-0, 13 KOs) went on the road in search of a world championship. Caballero looks the genuine article, but we won't know for sure until he fights Jamie McDonnell or one of the Nips!

Too predictable that they would pick a feather fisted journeyman for Caballero. I guess Guevara "earned" this fight by being knocked out by Yamanaka and then being inactive for 15 months afterward. Or perhaps it was the one sided loss to Santa Cruz a couple of fights before that.

Randy Caballero isn't that good, and Alberto Guevara isn't that bad. I expect a decent scrap.

Caballero has traveled for his last 2 major fights one being the title winning effort so he deserves a home defense.
