Pretty much this. The majority of boxers start off as poor or working class, not college standouts and rich kids like a lot of the pro NFL/NBA players. So most boxers stick with their women who were down with them since day one. However, a lot of boxers end up getting mistresses/side pieces (Ali, Oscar, Mosely, ect.) and end up having trouble with women when the riches and wealth comes. It's better to be a Tim Bradley, who's wife none of us would even give a second look passing her in the mall, but she seems to be a loyal women who's there for him. Froch seems to have the best of both worlds.

Maybe its because boxing is not popular in America? Look at the Euro boxers they can bag some hot chicks, they have more model groupies, in America boxers are poorer unless you are the small percent of high earners and not rich and famous like NBA players.

I think the OP is looking at guys like Crawford & Dawson and getting a misrepresentation of the overall picture. Those guys are quite dudes and maybe a little less confident and generally more comfortable with those types of girls. Alot of times those hot women just cause problems. Just ask Mosely & Tarver.
