Which fights did Mauricio Herrera really lose?

Looks to me like all his losses have been close fights that could have gone either way.

Mayfield beat him clearly, from what I remember so did Alvarado.

I thought the Mayfield fight could have gone either way, hard fight to score. Alvarado fight was good and close as well, but I remember giving the edge to Alvarado. He beat Garcia and Benavidez.

I don't think he is quite at the highest level. He wins fights with boxing skill, smarts and stamina. He deserved to win his last fight and the Garcia fight. I haven't seen some of his other fights. He is not as good a fighter as Garcia but Garcia had an off night.

Herrera is a better fighter than Garcia, that much was evident in their fight. Much more versatile than Danny although Garcia posseses more power in his shots.

I re-watched the Provo fight recently, had no argument with Herrera getting the win in a very close fight.

              5 careers losses:
He outlanded Benavidez by 45 punches (295-250).
He outlanded Garcia by 17 punches (221-204).
He outlanded Mayfield by 19 punches (222-203).
Alvarado outlanded him by 49 punches (380-429).
I can't find punch stats for his ShoBox fight vs. Anchondo, but it was a disputed split decision.

              Just food for thought.

herrera was considered the gift man when he won fights against dallas jr and prov that he should have lost. now he's considered the robbed man.

Alvarado and Mayfield clearly beat him, but to his defense he fought by far the dumbest fight he could have possibly fought against Alvarado. Had he boxed more, he might have won. If I remember correctly, the Mayfield fight was awful to watch. The other losses were clear robberies, however he should have lost to Mike Dallas Jr. Everyone who said Herrera deserved that decision just hates boxers who move.

Mike dallas got the better of mauricio in their fight... mauricio is a better fighter then mike, but he just had an off night... it was the same thing with the garcia fight, the better fighter just had an off night... it happens in boxing, youre not going to always look good in every single fight!
