i cant believe some people are trying to say "well who else can he fight?" firsgt off, he can wait for the winner of kovalev and pascal, or you could go to ring magazines site. looked at ranked opponents and see Eleider Alvarez ranked ahead of fonfara, an undefeated 30 year old cuban. but nope, we get fonfara, what a joke

Are you serious? Do you actually think Stevenson's team would risk putting him in the ring with someone they actually think would beat him and ruin his chance at a big payday vs the Paschal/Kovalev winner? Stevenson's team proved that they have the dumbest boxer and are the dumbest management team in boxing in 2014. They are not going to make the same mistake in 2015.

What would be really interesting is if the Paschal/Kovalev winner asked for/demanded that they be allowed two voluntary defenses just like Stevenson has received and the winner ended up fighting Froch in Wembley stadium, Chavez Jr. or Ward in a much bigger match than a fight against Stevenson. I hope it happens.

Yvon Michel is the PROMOTER! He has Stevenson and Lemieux as basically the face for his Promotion and you can also add Artur Beterbiev to that mix. Seems to me like he is trying to establish and build up his own Promotion in Canada first with those fighters before going OUTSIDE

Fans don't think, I want you all to think about this for a second...WTF does Yvon Michel need Duva and Kovalev for? Kovalev and Duva actually need Stevenson more than he needs them and Michel knows this! Stevenson is making great Pay Days Already! Kovalev can't offer him more than what he is making Now fighting beatable guys...

Again, the SAME PROMOTION also has Artur Beterbiev with his Promotion. If I was in Yvon Michel Position...TO HELL WITH KOVALEV, I would continue to Build Up Beterbiev and match him and Stevenson up for a huge fight in Quebec maybe 2016.

JUST SAYING! FROM a Promoter/Business Standpoint, if that is the Plan then I GET IT!

Take away their names, compare Beterbiev and Kovalevs resume side by side then cry yourself to sleep once you see they are two fights away from being the same fighter. On paper you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if not for Hopkins "name".
