Idk, who else would be a much better opponent instead of Fonfara? I agree, he beat him easily but for a stay busy fight it's not bad. Who would be better? The lhw division expect 3-4 big names isn't that great and deep. There are prospects but they are all green and not ready. So, who you rather want to see against him next? Campillo, Brähmer? They aren't bad but imo they are probably on the same level as Fonfara.
And I remember that after the Stevenson-Fonfara fight many users here were hyped af and they said that Fonfara exposed Stevenson because Stevenson got knock down. At least now those people can be satisfied they get a rematch.

name one game fighter that he has faced that would have him place in the same sentence as Adonis?

He beat geriatric Hopkins who has been beat by lhw fighters well before kovalev. Not to mention they beat much better and active versions of Hopkins.

Fonfara has faced stiffer comp than kovalev the can krusher and that's fact. Fonfara would beat the breaks off kovalev.

It's time these fakes to get out of boxing.

Where does this idea come from? don't tell me when his foot was stepped on and he was "KD" in the 1st rd 2 fights ago.

If Stevenson wants a stay busy fight at least someone different who he hasn't already beaten handily but looked bad because he gassed out and got dropped.
