There isn't a single thing Russell does better than Lomachenko, other then throw pitty pat punches. He was beat in every facet of boxing. Ring control, counter punching, affective aggression, and clean punching. Loma IS BETTER THAN YOU, simple as that.

If Russell fights someone other than TBA and actually wins a championship, he may get his chance to prove what he said. However, I doubt that Russell would perform any better against Lomachenko than he did the first time.

Russell I think will become this generations Derrick "smoke" gainer.. He will have a lot of promise, but when it's all said and done he will come up short in a promising career..

Loma is very defensive minded, but when he did open up, he had Gary frozen and completely lost and overwhelmed. Loma could have stopped him any time he wanted from the 5th round on. All he had to do was really go for it. That is not Loma's style though, but it did not look good on Russell. He was like a deer in the headlights. I don't think he has what it takes at the top level. I am proven wrong enough and I hope I am, but I just don't see next level in Russell Jr.

That would believable if Lomachenko won off of a Controversial Decision but that wasn't the case AT ALL. Lomachenko looked like the better and more SEASONED FIGHTER despite having far less Pro Fights than Russell Jr

Don't get me Wrong I still think Russell Jr is a special talent and he probably beats most guys at the top of his Division ESPECIALLY someone like Jhonny Gonzalez. But Walters, Mares or Lomenchenko in a rematch? NO! Going back to fighting beatable guys after losing to Lomenchenko is ******

Fight guys rated AHEAD OF YOU, not guys who are rated below you

This dude sounds like the guy whose face is batter and bloodied by his opponent and he has the nerve to say he won the fight because his opponent's knuckles are swollen.

Loma is the real deal, before the fight I admit it, I thought the fight was 50-50 how wrong I was!

Watching the fight again. Round 5 tells you all you need to know about where they are in regards to skill level and how a rematch (let alone 99 of them) would go.

Not true! Unlike Russell, Derrick "Smoke" Gainer fought several fights with good quality competition. Gainer got knocked out or lost handily to virtually all of those fighters, but, unlike Russell, at least he fought them.
