I do believe if he was a naturally bigger man, he would have given Wlad big problems. He's simply too small to compete with the big guys, evidenced by him being knocked out by the first right hand Wlad threw. He was there for a payday, and sure...that's understandable. I really don't think he went into that fight expecting to win...just try and survive and hope Wlad ran out of gas.

It never hurts to get the best sparring partners available.

Wlad knows how to fight Bryd, he allready proved that. Unless Byrd makes a serious change (which he is capable of) he will get knocked out. But if he has to come to the fight with a mystery game plan the only thing Wlad can do, or the best thing he can do is just get the best sparring available.

At a recent doctors examination, Chris's weight was 212, and amazingly his heart weighs 211.

Sorry that was lame, and I stole that from Larry Merchant. But yes, he is a ballsy, skillful warrior who is hated on by people who aren't real boxing fans or by people who equate boxing with street fighting.
