Mo Harris is as close as you can get when it comes to Byrd's style. And I also think Mo could spar with Wlad without falling out completely.............well maybe?

Perhaps, and like I said Wlad would be forced to pull his punches to the max....because I'm certain he'd fear hurting him unecessarily in that type of situation.

        But.

it only reinforces the type of style difference that makes the main event compelling...because like you stated. Harris and Byrd are mirror images in some ways. Both guys feint alot, and can get caught moving straight back.

Steward must have seen something interesting that might work to his benefit. According to Emmanuel, Eliseo Castillo was supposed to be a more dangerous fight than Byrd.....and I really don't know why they wouldn't opt to fight him in sparring.

He's speedy, mobile, and highly underrated as a heavyweight.

I think Castillo is preparing for a big cruiserweight fight.

                Mark my words.

He'll make some noise in that division. If he brings the same gameplan he did against Moorer....he will flat out dominate. The Cuban has some serious goods that everyone likes to write off.

Castillo is more comfortable at 195-200 he has said that. But I can agree that with today's cruiserweights Castillo can do very well for himself.

                    Yeah,

I do believe if he was a naturally bigger man, he would have given Wlad big problems. He's simply too small to compete with the big guys, evidenced by him being knocked out by the first right hand Wlad threw. He was there for a payday, and sure...that's understandable. I really don't think he went into that fight expecting to win...just try and survive and hope Wlad ran out of gas.

If Castillo had actually come to win that night he would have given Wlad problems. U don't beat a guy like Moorer, even a outta shape, old Moorer, and then just fold to Klit like he did. If he had been actually willing to fight that night the Wlad-express might have been derailed once again.
