GGG has immense power and knows how to cut off the ring properly while applying relentless pressure. Perhaps GGG has yet to face a boxer anywhere near Lara's level, but that's not to say he won't be able to beat him.

I don't see it going the distance. GGG's offense would overcome Lara's legs before the 12th.
I respect you feeling that way but then again... Canelo was the much bigger man and wasn't able to 'stop' Lara. Arguably Lara should have beaten Canelo on points.

Thinking GGG would destroy Lara in fashion you're describing it is pretty silly.. unless you're a fan of gym hype.

I agree that GGG is no limited brawler, but I have yet to see him face a high caliber opponent. The best name on his resume is probably Geale. Lara has Canelo and Williams, both fights he should have won. Lara has way too much experience. Lara 12-0

I may have exaggerated a tad bit but I honestly believe GGG stops Lara. Regarding Canelo, sure he had the power to hurt Lara but from what I recall the size difference between the Mexican and the Cuban wasn't as vast as you make it seem on fight night. Another thing is the fact that Lara had an extremely close fight with Canelo... a fighter who has the power to stop damn near anyone in his division, but lacks the ability to effectively cut the ring off, something GGG takes pride in. GGG has the power and skill to effectively cut Lara off and down.

Should have and doing so are two different things. I agree, he beat Williams without a doubt but the Canelo fight was much closer and could have gone either way. Again, my stance is based on styles and not necessarily the opposition either fighter has encountered and thus I remain adamant in stating, "GGG breaks Lara in half".

you honestly cant say that ggg breaks Lara in half when he hasnt fought anyone on Lara's level. Hell even Canelo has a 10x better resume than ggg
