Hungarian promoter, manager, agent and heavyweight boxer Zoltan Petranyi (51-20) has been stripped of the UBO European title following his refusal to go through with a defence against Temoo Tamaititahio in Papetee on Tahiti in the French Polynesia on November 28.
As was previously reported, Petranyi felt the ring was in bad shape and refused to fight which eventually led to a cancelled flight back home. Petranyi made it back home a week later and is now ready to fight again on December 29 at the Acquincum Hotel in Budapest, where he defends the national title against Zoltan Csala (5-0) with the vacant WBFed Intīl title also at stake.
