I'm just saying. Love Roy, Floyd and Mike. My three all time faves
I guess Tarver was incorrect about that...lol

Beating Atgs Hopkins & Toney, plus all the champs Jones has on his resume (Hill, Griffin, Reggie Johnson) make Benn, Nunn and those dudes an afterthought from a legacy perspective on Jones...

see...you said this on floyd..the key word here is eventually:

jones didn't eventually fight toney when the sales date lost all stamina, he fought him when both were prime, and undefeated...floyd is eventually getting around to pacquaio, far past the sale date in terms of prime...

i don't know why its so hard to understand the point here...even jones said in the interview, in between wisecracks, that had mayweather fought pacquaio a few years ago and beat him, he could either retire on everybodys top tier atg list, or coast until he got beat down...Mosley, Cotto, even Oscar...all those guys had lots of miles on the treads before Floyd fought em...how much stock does a true boxing fan take in that...

You guys are truly nuts...so HBO asked him to go diss Floyd on some unknown internet show because this is how they want to tarnish Floyd's image?

Of all the times to say something on HBO, infront of a large listening audience, the HBO execs said 'No, Roy, you wait till you get on that internet show and let loose! 96 adult beings and a fly on the wall will hear what you got to say!' lol...truly nuts.

If anything, THIS is closer to Roy's true opinion on the matter, unhindered by execs and producers.

Besides, is there anything that Roy said that wasn't true? That he bit me **** was not hate, it's something that happened on video - why be offended by it? Floyd screamed like a little girl after trying to block Maidan's breathing because that's what "clean" fighters do.

Anyways, I would think (optimistically) the Pac-Floyd fight is near signed and Roy could also be mildly upset his boy Vargas is missing out on a chance. Roy is Vargas' trainer, he probably thinks they can beat Manny and he's upset with the idea of Floyd getting to Manny first.

the tards on nsb cant seem to answer this simple question..floyd is 2 years older than pac pushing 40 and they think he is still prime?

if floyd doesnt get credit for beating a 35 year old pac how much credit would pac get for beating floyd..

He is making all brotha's look like cowards. Floyd really is an embarrassment for blacks everywhere.

Roy is saying what I have been saying since the fight fell through in 2012.
Even if Floyd fights and beats Pac now it means nothing. It will just reinforce the belief that Floyd was scared of prime Pac and had to wait until he was older and shot to fight him. It might even be worse for Floyd to fight Pac now. If it doesn't happen at least he can play the what if game and try to blame the other side.
