Kind of funny coming from someone who walked away from that very bout 1 year ago with no roadblocks in place. He could have beaten Kovalev, went to SHO, beaten BHOP and been undisputed champ. Instead he chose the path of least resistance.

I really haven't kept up with this but it sounds to me like Stevenson wants the fight its more Al Haymon preventing it?

Well, last year Stevenson's promoter had an agreement, Stevenson went and signed with Haymon, and suddenly the fight was off. Considering how he showed no desire to fight him then, pretty clear Stevenson ducked Kovalev then. Then Haymon tried to screw both Hopkins and Pascal and cost Stevenson those fights.

Now Stevenson is backed into a corner where he has to fight Kovalev, regardless of whether he wants to or not. And Haymon might not let him, we'll see.

I used to talk alot of good about Stevenson but now unless you are a complete moron; how can you say anything good. Up until you are forced, you say there is no reason for the fight and now you claim the world deserves it.... please!!!
