If Pac vs Khan gets made

that theory will go out of the window and make Floyd look really bad

Manny has nothing to gain from fighting him & he isn't in-house which Arum preferably wants. If Khan had the IBF, then manny/Floyd would have slightly more interest.

Team Pac already approached Amir about a fight earlier, so the two sides are amenable to match up

how would that make floyd look bad, floyd isnt with gbp.. They say the cold war is over but manny just fought algieri and will probably fight vargas. Why is that? If garcia or khan beat manny then arum is left in the dark with no new superstar

You got it backwards. It should be clear as day that Haymon has been the main cause of the 'Cold War' in Boxing all along. Before he came on the scene, promoters had no issues working with eachother, even when they hated eachother. Don King and Arum co-promoted for decades. Arum and Oscar co-promoted big fights for years. Then Haymon's lap dog Schaefer became GBP's CEO and vowed never to work with Top Rank again while simultaneously doing his master's bidding and sacking Golden Boy from the inside.

As soon as his plot was discovered and he was given the boot, Golden Boy and Top Rank immediately started doing co-promotions again (So far we've seen Russell-Lomachenko, Ali-Abregu, Herrera-Benavidez, and they're working on Cotto-Canelo now). Before Pac-Bradley II happened earlier this year, TR reached out to Khan and offered a Pac fight, Haymon turned it down.

Just yesterday Arum said that he and Pac are open to fighting Danny Garcia next year... but he doesn't think Haymon would let that happen.

neither are goldenboy...and Cotto is not signed with top-rank.....i also noticed you chose to ignore the real reason they stopped working together which was 2 separate lawsuits which started with Manny signing a contract with both companies back to back..Arum calling Oscar names...had 0 to do with Haymon

WTF are you talking about? Canelo is not with GBP? Technically you can say Russell-Lomachenko wasn't a co-promotion since GBP outbid TR for the rights, but they were fighters from both companies. And Cotto may not be officially signed to TR but he employed them to negotiate on his behalf and it will be a co-promotion for both companies.

The contract dispute went down in 2006. After that, the two companies were still staging co-promotions for years. Pac fought several GBP fighters after that (Morales, JMM, Barrera, Diaz, Hatton, and Oscar himself).

The Cold War didn't start until Schaefer stopped acting in the best interests of GBP and started executing Haymon's agenda. As soon as the plot was discovered and Richie Rich was canned, Top Rank and GBP went back to doing fights together with 0 issues.

Haymon is, was, and will always be the reason for rival companies not making big fights together. You can even ask Kathy Duva, she'll tell you.
