No he was starting to fade post Spinks. He also lost to Douglas. I would say the Spinks win as he was viewed as nearly untouchable by all of the greats less Ali and maybe Louis. After the Douglas loss and his struggles with Ruddock and getting his ass handed to him by Holyfield his star had faded to the point that he was viewed as beatable if you took his heart away.
