To go back to the discussion at hand, Mosley's chin is top 5 - 10 in the sport for sure. He went from 135 - 154 and traded shots with guys much bigger than him his whole career.

The results of the poll speaks for itself.
But did I vote for Corley??? I said both Corley & Mosley has good chins & are about even.

Of course Mosley will win any kinda poll against a guy like Corley.

But for anyone say that Corley chin isn't good, then they really haven't seen much of Corley.

Both guys good chins, but not great.

I don't see anyone saying Corely's chin isn't good, it's just not on the level of Mosley's.

Mosley has one of the best chins in the business. I'd say that's great.

it's wild how people think shane's opposition was better than Corley's. Mayweather Jr. counts for 2 of Shane's notable opponents...
Shane's fought Delahoya, Forrest, Wright, and Vargas.

Those guys **** harder than the likes of the guys Chop Chop has faced at 140.
It's just that IMO, DLH & Forrest (Forrest, really) are the only real big ****ers Shane ever faced. Vargas' wasnt worth a **** when they fought, and Wright isn't even a puncher. I take nothin' away from Shane though, Forrest was a tough contender. It's just that Shane has been dropped, nailed hard enough on the chin to actually give way and fall down, dazed, on the canvas. While Corley has taken hella punishment and been all ****ed up, and managed to keep it together, hold himself together and throw that knee down rather than crumble to the canvas. Of course he never got caught with a Forrest uppercut while he was dazed either, but still. I still think ChopChop's chin is superior, because Mayweather Jr., the '03 Judah, and Cotto are more dangerous than Forrest, DLH, Wright and a washed up Vargas. While Forrest may have a harder punch, Chopchop's opponents had better delivery methods, and were much higher up on the skill ladder.(esp MW Jr...)

Corley has faced two guys who are the hardest lb4lb hitters out of both he & Mosley's opponents....& that's Judah & Randall Bailey.
Bailey is actually the biggest hitter faced by either, though certainly not anywhere near as good an all-around fighter as most Mosley foes.

Mosley appears to be harder to hurt than is Corley...of course, Shane's being a plain better fighter has a lot to do with that.

You can say Shane has faced bigger opponents, & that is something to consider.
But...remember that Corley faced a Cotto who weighed 150+ the night they fought.

Tough call.....lots of ways to look at it.
