Pacquiao and floyd are fighting? That's news to me, we've only been waiting 5 years.
SMH.
And whos fault is that ? Who turned down $100 million over blood testing. Who turned down May 5, 2012 over an outdoor stadium. Who turned down $40 million with 35% of PPV. Who is trying to turn down May 2, 2015 because of Arum beleiving only Mexicans should fight in May.
For some strange reason, I feel bad for Amir Khan. He did survive Maidana, and Maidana got his shot twice. Where I have a problem is with Amir's approach. He side-stepped Alexander, when Alexander had props fpr being a champ, then he fights Alexander when he's not the champ. He doesn't fight Porter or Thurman, but the guy that nobody is really feelin' right now. Brook beat that guy, Porter, in Cali, and you didn't fight him, Amir fights the guy who lost to Porter. Alexander is not a statement win. I think the best choices for Khan are #1 Brook, #2 Danny Garcia, #3 Timothy Bradley. I would advise Khan to avoid Thurman and Maidana at all costs. Too low reward/high risk!
People laughing at Khan for drawing 8K. Bring an American fighter over to the UK, and let's see him do even half of that.
Americas 2nd best Welterweight was fighting just down the road, his fight dwarfed in comparison to Khan's. AK selling more seats then American's in America.
Sure...most Americans of Khan's stature wouldn't do well in the UK if they were fighting a UK fighter with as small a fanbase as Alexander. But American fighters don't need the UK as much as Khan needs the U.S.
