Maidanas best win is against Victor Ortiz.

    Ortiz would steamroll Broner.

It would be a 50/50 fight, don't rate either guy at all. I think they are overhyped c class fighters. They're on a similar level to Julio Diaz imo.

Broner is not C Level, Ortiz at the time was not a C Level fighter. Marcos has been competitive in every fight except against Alexander. I understand where you're going with your statement but you can't exclude those that he lost to. It's all about experience. I see great talent in Thurman but I need to see him against a higher caliber of fighter

maidana is a B class fighter. Plain and simple. B class fighter being a diva. The guy lost to Khan and Alexander...

Look, there are no other huge money fights out there for you...Maidana lost to Floyd and now is back in the line. Either beat the best available opponents or retire.

after 2x mayweather fights all maidana is interested in is a couple of other big money fights before retirement eg pacquiao, khan.
he would go to 154 for cotto or canelo.
thurman is high risk, low reward and not what maidana looking for now.

Maidana has seen Thurman get a body shot KO and he can move so Maidana don't want none of that. Maidana knows that all it takes is a solid shot to Khan's china chin and it's lights out. If I couldn't get a shot at Floyd or Manny I'd want to fight Khan if I was a welterweight for that Al Haymon/Bob Arum type easy money with low risk. Hell atleast Maidana isn't calling out someone the likes of a Chris Algieri at a catchweight lol.

How and when did he duck Thurman? How much Money was Maidana offered to fight Thurman and where was the fight supposed to take place? If you can't answer these questions then you don't know if Maidana ducked him or not. Maidana is good fighter and he is not afraid of any fighter his weight. He beat the hell out of Broner who was ranked higher than anyone Keith ever fought. He gave Mayeather two hard fights and that's a plus not a minus. So he lost twice to Mayweather. So what. Everybody loses to Mayweather. You say he doesn't deserve a Khan fight like it is some huge honer to fight Khan that has to be earned. Check the Ring rankings and you will see Maidana is ranked HIGHER than Khan and doesn't have to earn a damn thing.

I just checked Ring ratings and they have changed with Khan ranked higher than Maidana now so I was wrong about that. It doesn't matter because Khan has always refused a rematch with Maidana. Since you love Khan and Thurman so much why aren't you pushing for a Khan-Thurman fight?????? Who is ducking who? They are both welterweights and they both want to fight Mayweather so let them fight it out for the right to fight Mayweather. The fight should be easy to make. Oscar promotes both of them and Haymon advises both of them.

Khan has fought the better opposition than Thurman and has done more to earn a title shot which he can get seeing as Kell Brook has been calling for a fight for the longest.

Most of the fights that Thurman has taken thus far have been build up fights, he needs his acid test before he can challenge for world titles. Seeing as Maidana lost his last 2 fights he would also need to earn his shot to fight against champions/title challengers. The fight needs to happen.

Honestly, I think Broner is that awful at 147.
