You think Floyd's stock has really risen though? Not really, otherwise, Showtime wouldn't be stepping in and trying to make this fight happen. It's really more about our crappy economy and the greedy prices that these companies are tying to charge. I haven't personally purchased a PPV in almost two years (I bought Pac-Bradley II) but that was about it.

Every PPV, these scumbags try to recoup their lost revenue by increasing the PPV purchase price. I mean where did these dudes learn about business? You start losing money, you look at the Walmart model....advertise more, sell cheap and clean up on smaller profit margins spread over a larger volume. People will pay IF THEY CAN AFFORD IT. Floyd can't beat economics with his image nor his talking. The networks need to price this one right....60 bucks and they will make a killing.

Risen? No. He's maintained. He's had four fights with Showtime and sold close to 5 million PPV's. Those are far and away the best numbers in the sport. But really at this point, I don't care what Showtime's motivation is. Or what the PPV will cost. Like you, I haven't purchased a PPV since Pac-Bradley II as well. But for Mayweather-Pacquiao I wouldn't care if it was $60 or $100.

The closest the fight ever came to happening was Early 2010, and Manny turned the fight down at 50-50 when both were pretty much 50-50 in drawing power, and a 14 day cutoff or whatever it was. And fought Clottey.

Just because Manny passed VADA testing in 2014 doesn't mean **** when it comes to what he was doing in the past. Manny ducking the testing and then all the BS with egos came into it, and it was built up into this massive thing, and it never has happened. If Manny had just accepted testing initially, this fight 100% would have happened in May 2010.

And dont forget the BS lawsuit , you dont see Manny wanting to sue Pauli and Pauli been staying it for years , the lawsuit against GB and Floyd was all about having another reason to roadblock the fight , one day somebody will right a book about all this and blow the lid right of Manny and Arums BS .

The irony of the whole thing is Manny walked out on the biggest fight in history with 50/50 split on the table over a test he now forces on bums like Rios and Algieri , and with no cut of dates , Manny is a former PEDS cheat no doubt about it , its the only feasible reason he would do what he has done , no other fighter in history would have walked on that fight over testing other than a PEDS cheat .
