Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Confident of Being Heir To Klitschko Throne

Tyson Fury believes he is three fights away from becoming world heavyweight champion

The Mancunian giant is now the mandatory challenger for Wladimir Klitschko's WBO world crown.

But Fury is sure the Ukrainian, who also holds the WBA and IBF belts, wants nothing to do with him.

And if Klitschko does not take on the unbeaten 6ft 9in Brit next summer, then Fury has mapped out his own 1-2-3 route to the summit - starting with a February 28 bout against an as yet unnamed opponent at London's O2.

Wladimir Klitschko has offered Fury a fight in the past, and been turned down.

Fury has a big mouth, but doesn't back up his words.

And Fury has also ducked Pulev and Ustinov.

Pulev ducked Chisora after Chisora was mandated.

Fury's familiy member goes deadly ill the day before the fight. Dies shortly after. Clear duck from Fury.

Wladimir Klitschko ducked Derek Chisora and was scared of Chisora so he let big bro face him much like he did when he was flattened by Sanders and Purrity.

Fury has every right to be confident, but he should show Vladimir some more respect.

Also, the best fighter he beat so far is still Cunningham, and he was floored by Cunningham before using roughhouse tactics to end the smaller guy. What big guy has he fought, that Nascimento dude a few years back. Firtha?

If he beats Ustinov or Wach in a good fight, it should tell us more. But it is great that he remains active, this is the most important aspect right now.

Wtf are you talking about, I am not whining. Who do you suggest he fights, another cruiserweight? He needs to fight and beat guys his own size in order to prepare for Vladimir, that was my point.

Yes he has, I remember Vlad wanted to fight him a couple years back already, but Fury obviously wasn't remotely ready in any way, which is fair enough.

Fury should stop this nonsense that he is the greatest on the planet and beat some more top opponents instead. Fucking big wanker.

Why would Fury duck Pulev? He'd win every round against the big stiff idiot, same with Ustinov.

Team Fury picked Ustinov from a list of suitable candidates, why would they pick him, and then duck him? It doesn't make any sense.

Fury is only 26 and is the third best HW on the planet. Plenty of time for him to win a world title.
