Fighter of the year - Sergey Kovalev - He came in like a wrecking ball and forced Adonis Stevenson into irrelevancy lol. Beating up old Hopkins and making him his ***** was great. I've never seen Hopkins so scared and go into survival mode like that lol.

Fight of the year - Molina vs Matthysse

Promoter - Main Events - They keep getting the best fights for Sergey like Hopkins and now Pascal. They also took Sergey from irrelevant to arguably the man at 175lbs.

Trainer - John David Jackson - He formulated a perfect plan to out box the supposed master boxer in Bernard the overrated because of his age Hopkins.

    Manager - Al Haymon

Narvaez is nearly 40, he's fighting on Inoue's home turf and Inoue is super talented. Narvaez is a superb, underrated boxer, but I would be surprised if Inoue doesn't win. IMO if he does, he deserves fighter-of-the-year after the way he earlier walked through one of the top jr. flyweight beltholders. Those are two awfully good wins in one year.

It's a shame. The BWAA ignores Ruenrong and announces the nominees before Inoue fights at the end of the year. Very disrespectful to Asian boxing.
