Why doesn't boxing get the blame for fights not happening?!

I've been a lurker on here since 2008, and every time I visit there's at least two threads on the 1st page with people blaming Pac, May, Haymon, Arum, HBO, Showtime, etc...for the fight not happening. And there are so many other fights that should have happened over the years. This **** is endless and I wonder why boxing, as an organization, never gets blamed for this nonsense of elite fighters not facing each other. Are there any other major sports that work like this? (Serious question btw)
I can't imagine the Yankees' manager holding out on a playoff matchup w the Red Sox bc their manager is stalling negotiations on what type of bats the other team can use.
What a completely ****ed up sport, and it's getting more and more boring as the years go on. This is capitalism run amok (monopolies, corporate greed, etc...)

Sorry, just wanted to vent :/

The problem with boxing is there is no central authority

    Football has the nfl
    Mma has UFC
    Basketball has the NBA

Boxing has ibf, wbo, WBC, WBO, top rank, gbp, haymon, showtime, hbo, athletic commissions, etc, etc..
All of them have some sort of power but nobody has much control... It's basically like congress, with a bunch of different interests trying to cut deals, yet the self interests of each party make it damn near impossible to get anything accomplished

      Makes sense
I guess that further begs the question then:
Why doesn't the public go after boxing for not having a central authority?
I mean, even if Pac/May happens (which it won't), the issue still remains unresolved in the sport. And hundreds of fights will go unmade over the next decade. It's just an absurd way to structure an organization (and congress is a perfect analogy btw)

I'm surprised no one on boxing has tried to follow the UFC model and be the promoter and have the belts, and cut out the sanctioning bodies like the WBC and ibf...
        The sanctioning bodies are worthless..

If gbp and top rank joined forces they could create a UFC for boxing

UFC has its fair share of problems but the matchmaking in each division gets done pretty smoothly

            boxing is not a person....

Also, prize fighting has never been like any other sport, ever. It's impossible.
The UFC has its own problems (fighters are suing) and even when controlling 90% of the market, there are still world class athletes frozen out and super fights don't get made.

Im not sure what world class athletes are being frozen out.. Maybe Ben askren but I can't think of any world class guys that didn't get a crack in the UFC..

As for the super fights, those are nearly impossible to put together because of the huge weight difference between classes.. Gsp and silva, or silva vs jon jones or jon jones vs Cain... The smaller guy is at a huge disadvantage..it would be like floyd fighting Golovkin, That's what makes it tricky... They have weight classes for a reason and as long as I get top notch fights within each division, Im happy..
Boxing can't even deliver the fights within a division..
              Stevenson vs hopkins, kovolev
              Golovkin vs serg
              Floyd vs manny
              Gamboa vs juanma
              Etc
              Etc

Arguably the top wrestler being frozen out and no super fights despite both sides having the same promoter. The only reason those fights did not take place was because the UFC was too cheap and at the time was riding high regardless. They own the sport yet they suck at matchmaking and fighters are inactive.

Things are catching up with them this year though, the gravy train is over. One thing that is obvious is that a sport like boxing or MMA needs multiple promoters for it to thrive. Lets not forget that the UFC always refused to work with anyone else.
