Two Different types of Power. GGG's power is much heavier and moves an opponent (it sinks in). Lemieux's power is more about a combination of fairly heavy, combined with quick snap.

Lemieux with the quick snap, might be able to better "one punch KO" an opponent to the head, while GGG's would be better able to "one punch KO" an opponent to the body.

Opponents can weather a storm by Lemieux and carry on after getting hurt. GGG's power seems to continuously wear down an opponent better.

Rosado is washed up to fk and Golvokin was ill on the day of the fight with the flu as stated many times.

No clue how people think Lemieux hits anywhere as hard as GGG He couldn't even knock out Alcine, who's been KO'd by Macklin, Brain Rose and Anuglo? Cmon now.
Pure power vs placement of power...

It's a fine line. Lemiuex is placing his power better now. He wasnt when he lost 2 straight and his gameplan was to go broke.

Lemieux's lack of power vs Alcine is due to his own lack of technique. If he could have landed on Alcine clean he would have KO'd him. You have to land the power to make it work LOL

What do fight results or scenarios have to do with power? He hits like a train but he is just not as good as GGG overall, how hard is that to conceptualize?

It's simple, he just doesn't hit as hard as GGG, regardless. He throws 100% every time, if you saw GGG do that you'd have a gravestone in the ring. It's easy to look powerful when you throw like a rabid dog.

Golovkin has also knocked out many fighters who have never been KO'd. Combine this with the stories of him hitting like a LHW/cruserweight, I think it's obvious just in power, Golovkin wins. Let's not go down the road of the different types of power, let's just say power is power and be done with it.

Put it this way, there is a reason Rubio decided he could actually try to fight with GGG, and a reason he covered up in a cocoon vs Lemieux for the first 5 rounds. He quit against GGG after starting to feel his power, but he wanted no part of tasting Lemieux's on his chin.

Golovkin isn't going to throw the kitchen sink at you in the first few rounds, that's why Rubio decided to fight a little. It wasn't long before in the 2nd round he went into defensive mode. Of course you're going to keep your guard up against a fighter who's just constantly attacking you as opposed to one who is taking his time and slowly outboxing you. Anyway, Rubio got hit by plenty of flush shots in his fight vs lemiux, still didn't go down.

In the end, everything points towards Golovkin hitting harder and that's all that really matters. To base Lemiux power off of one fight against Rosado is just sad, especially when you consider Angulgo KO'd him in 2 rounds. Does that mean Angulo hits harder than GGG?

Did you see that fight and the circumstances surrounding that stoppage?

So now circumstances and results matter when they benefit your opinion? Once again, everything points to Golovkin having more power. Wanna dispute that? Go ahead, it's a losing battle as pretty much nothing supports it.

The fact Rosado is being used as the measuring stick is just sad.

Aren't you using them for that reason? which is what I am pointing to in order to illustrate that the results do not necessarily indicate who has more power.

You can just see the thudding force when Lemieux lands his punches and hear the impact, same with GGG but it appear to me Lemieux hits harder but only someone who fought both could say for sure.

                      Are there any Rosado quotes?
