This is the result of fighting unrecognized fighters when you're touted as the next big thing to boxing. It's a lose-lose situation. He KO's Bundu and they'll say it's another cherrypicked fight, no big deal, it's expected. If this was 40 year old Marquez he fought, it would have made zero difference. They would still focus on the age difference.

Bundu would have been VERY easy to underestimate.

40 years old, barely known, not many KOs, etc.

Truth is, Keith very much could have been KO'd if he wasn't careful, and that would be the end of his career. Bundu has power, look at Keiths face post fight.
