I voted Marquez Pacquio being the worse decision, simply because the one judge who tipped the fight to being a draw went back on his own card, admitted he made an embarassing error, and said he should have scored that first round as the other judges did.
To me, that shows there was a clear and admitted error in the scoring of that fight.
None of the judges who scored Mosley Delahoya II as they did feel they did anything wrong, and despite the sentiment here in this thread, if you go back to that night the majority of Press row scoring had Mosley winning, as did the Assoc Press (116-113).
Rewatching that fight, you notice the work Mosley did to the body may have won him some of the closer rounds.
It could have definatly gone to Oscar, but I don't think the decision was as bad as Marquez escaping with a draw in that fight with Manny because a judge made a very embarassing mistake he immediatly admitted was ****** of him.Last edited by Bozo_no no; 03-14-2006, 08:54 PM.Comment

What's even dumber is that they can't go back and award the win to Pac. These damn rules make it so impossible for a credible protest by a boxer's camp to over-turn a ruling, even if it's as trivial as a scoring error.

I can live with the draw in the Pac-JMM fight, even though I thought Pac pulled it off. I watched the fight live at ringside and wouldn't have been surprised either way. I thought it was a real close fight. Did not really score it round for round but the impression I got was that it was a close fight. JMM definitely did not win all rounds after the first. Anyone that says so otherwise is not only a nuthugger but a third testicle.Comment
