Bundu lost that fight, but he showed tons of heart in absorbing those shots from Thurman and because of that showing I'm sure he'd get a good opportunity in the near future.
Thurman isn't in that small group of future elite fighters in the 147 division, Swift is on that list....Thurman knew he messed up in the post fight interview and that he didn't come all the way through, Thurman is not the future of the Welterweight division, it ain't Thurman, it ain't Porter even though for a few months after he beat Paulie he was getting the hype that Thurman is getting now, SWIFT GARCIA is the future of the welterweight division, he's fought the best competition of all those young welters, Crawford, Mikey and Verdejo still in the 130's but they're the only ones along with Swift and a few others i left out that have that potential but i don't think Thurman is all that
What's your source for any of this? From googling I can't find any article stating that a Thurman-Maidana fight was ever signed, let alone that Maidana pulled out because "Thurman has too many KOs."
if you watch boxing on the regular you would know this. smh casuals

thurman will want easy work too if he has a bad loss, don't see how wanting a soft touch is ducking someone. like contursi said, everybody has tune ups.
