There aren't really that many fighter that are above 5'8 in 147 and below. I'd say the types of fighters he doesn't fight are one's with a solid Olympic background. So far he's only fought 2 fighters that are Olympic pedigree and both were faded in Oscar and Cotto. Both fighter gave him a tough night out and I think Khan would give him an even harder time due to Khan being in his prime and Mayweather slowing down.

I think this is all coincidental... but I do believe he ducked Antonio Margarito in his prime, he was massive for the weight.

Judah, Oscar, and cotto were all Olympians,, I believe Ortiz was an alternate or at least at the Olympic trials in 04..
          Mosely was a great amateur

Floyd has fought a lot of guys that were great amateurs

There isn't really many and that's what makes them so special. Besides Khan he has the option of fighting Golivkin at 154 and that's really it. On his way up I'd say he missed a shot to fight Cassamayor.

Judah wasn't an Olympian. Mosley was a good amateur but what accomplishments does he hold in the amateurs outside the US? A junior Olympics tournament and that's it. Same with Ortiz and Judah.

I'm pretty sure Judah was on the 96 team with tarver, Vargas, floyd.. He didn't medal but I'm sure he was on it... Maybe I'm wrong...

Shane was a tremendous amateur and only got left of the Olympics because of Vernon Forrest If memory serves correct,,,

Point being, that Floyd doesn't dodge guys with good amateur backgrounds

The 2 biggest ducks of his career were Margarito and Paul Williams

Nope, Judah missed out to Diaz in an upset. Yes Mosley only was left out because of the late great Vernon Forest which is no shame at all, in fact Forest was the gold medal favourite going in but was eliminated because he came in with an injury or something. Shane Mosley was done by the time he fought Floyd anyway but regardless what was Mosleys accomplishments as an amateur on the world stage? Not really much, i head about some magazine having 22 pages on him before he turned pro because of his amateur background but tbh outside the US he didn't accomplish much.
