Nothing is too big for New York. If for some reason, New York was to collapse as a city, the world could potentially fall into financial chaos. If Vegas went away, just this country would just lose a marginally entertaining city.

Everyone knows Mayweather fights on Cinco de Mayo weekend, yet Bob wants to make that an issue now? Then again Bob used the date excuse when Floyd got his date pushed back to suit Bob's date.

As a former pro athlete, I personally lost respect for Floyd. I don't know the man so I'm not talking on a personal level. I used to be a fan of Floyd but I couldn't after he duck Magarito, his fake retirement to avoid prime WW, his fight with JMM(LW & Floyd came in overweight) and all the bs roadblocks to NOT fight Manny. I went to his fight vs Judah. That's when I was a fan. It's ok for Judah to lose to Carlos Baldomir and he still gets a shot to fight Floyd. Manny "lose" to Tim Bradley and lost to JMM and he can't get a fight. Man I can go on and on with the EXCUSES Floyd makes but I won't. You Stan's pretend like you don't see all his bs. LOL. Its obvious Bob Arum is using the cinco de Mayo weekend as a bargaining chip because Floyd thinks that he controls everything just because he is the A side. Being the A side against someone who is basically your equal doesn't hold as much weight as say Pacquiao-Algieri or Mayweather-Maidana or even Maweather-Canelo. Cotto is considered A side against Canelo do you think that he should get 90% of the money and in addition Canelo should bow to every other single demand? Obviously not because Cotto only has a little more bargaining power, so it will be close to 50/50 as should Pac Mayweather. The fact of the matter is who can Mayweather fight to be able to keep cinco de Alvarez? Pacquiao is the only one and Mayweather knows this and Arum knows this. Arum is the one making the Cotto Canelo fight happen too. Mayweather needs to be brought down to earth and realize he needs the fight just as much if not more than Pacquiao needs it. For legacy, and also to keep his May date which is more of an inflated ego thing really. Pacquiao can move down to 140 and have a mega fight with Crawford in the spring while Mikey Garcia has a couple fights to work up to 140 and then Pac can have another mega fight with him in the fall. Not only would he gain his ppv crown back, he would probably also gain his number 1 p4p back. Mayweather is retiring and Pacquiao should keep fighting, and that means he will definitely be dominating the ppv market for however long he wants to fight as long as he keeps doing good. Mayweather needs Pacquiao more that's the bottom line, he only has 2 fights left and he doesn't have a many big wins on his resume as Pacquiao does.
