    Tim Bradley vs Andre Berto

Tim Bradley desperately needs decisive victory to get back to the elite level. He looked decent, but not great, against a very determined Diego Chaves the other night. Bradley was doing great work in the beginning to mid way through the fight; his inside fight game was ferocious (and he should have stayed in there) but, he was too inactive from therein. He boxes on the outside, pot shots, counters but his workrate is not sufficient IMO (and in Julie Lederman's).

Anyhow, I was trying to think of a good opponent for Bradley next, and thought Andre Berto. Why not? Berto is on the comeback trail and coming off a good win and he still has good name recognition, so a dominating win over him gets Bradley back on track.

    Any takers?

      I'd watch it.

If a really good version of Berto shows up, it could be interesting, but more likely it's a lopsided UD in favor of Desert Storm.

        Meh.

Berto's done, Bradley might actually stop him.

I'd watch it. I think Bradley is the more solid fighter in all the sense of the word. His chin is more solid, his punch resistance is more solid, his skill set is more solid... He is just everything that Berto could be, but isn't.

Bradley wins 11-1. I think Arum was definitely behind the scoring on both the Herrera and Bradley fights so that he could keep Chaves and Benavidez marketable. Tim threw more, landed more and at a higher percentage plus control the action for the most part.

I would go with Bradley. Higher level of competition but somewhere in his mind he has the idea he is a puncher and that makes fights closer when he has good boxing skills.

Bradley does what he always does and goes life n death with him before nicking a split decision

Bradley would destroy Berto......At this point Berto only has speed/ and right hand

Berto looked sharp in his last outing albeit against an extra from The Walking Dead. Berto is a tough customer and Bradley had problems with Chaves, so is it really such a foregone conclusion as everyone is making it out to be?

Also, if Berto is a walk in the park for Bradley; doesn't Tim deserve a 'soft touch' opponent after facing so many A level opponents? It's sad to think that Berto has become 'an opponent' but he's getting paid good money, so I guess I can't feel that bad.
