Herrera clearly won, he was flat out the better fighter. It's a joke seeing a hard-nosed, pure grafter like Herrera get shafted so routinely. Boxing has become a joke.

Herrera clearly won, there is no way 7rds could go to Benevidas. Why does everyone always point to some punches being block as a reason why someone didn't win the round when the fighter on the receiving end is laying on the ropes not even throwing for nearly minute stretches of rds as if Herrera has to take the round which will automatically be given to the young prospect as long as he isn't totally dominated?

herrera was busier that about it. The only punch he would land cleanly was the jab to the body. rewatch it in slow mo and see that herreras punches were meaning less. herrera wa seven hitting in the back of the head alot when Benavidez was against the ropes

what are you basing those 7 rounds on? activity? what did he do to win. ill tell you benavidez was countering beautifully in the middle of the ring . just looked ugly when he went to the ropes but even when he was n the ropes he wasnt getting tagged

Many clean jabs to the body and upstairs and all of the work on the ropes Hererra did while Benevidas did nothing. Unless you are dominating the round landing flush eye catching punches you pretty much lose the round when you spend an entire minute laying on the ropes partially blocking a few punches.

the first 8 rds were clear on who got what rounds, and i had it even after the 8th. the last 4 were swing rounds for me so the decision could have gone in any direction.

herrera got good shots on the inside in the swing rounds but there were lots of times also that he let benavidez teed off on him and he didnt do nothing.

there was no robbery imo.
